Glade Organics is a small-scale veggie farm situated in the beautiful West Kootenay Valley of British Columbia, Canada. Ross Petrie, an Irishman, and Mira Grbich, a local from Pass Creek, are first-generation farmers.

Surrounded by mountains in this lovely valley we are entering our fifth year farming on this beautiful parcel of fertile land right between the two cities of Nelson and Castlegar BC, near the Glade General Store on Highway 3A.

It is our mission to cultivate an organic sense of community that encourages

sustainable agriculture and to distribute quality, organic, local, and fresh produce.

We wish to feed the masses. We envision bringing a fresh and local option closer to

people’s homes.

We operate our farm as a clean, green space that promotes

community and relationships while caring for the environment and ourselves. We hope

to flourish, and in doing so, we hope to increase our local food security and the

availability of local, certified organic produce in our area.

We value living the change we want to see in the world.

Once again, we are opening the farms' doors May-October on Tuesday evenings 3-6 PM and offer a  farm stand to the public.

Located on the farm, 2305 Hwy 3a, south 300m from the Glade General Store.

Regarding COVID-19 we are doing our best to keep it business as usual with a few changes. We are offering Online Ordering of farm veggies and a 2020 CSA.
